Canning Tomatoes with Nick and Madi

On Saturday morning Carol came over to help me can tomatoes. Carol brought some great helpers with her! Nick and Madi helped us get the correct spices into the tomatoes and then they made sure the tomatoes were stirred just right.

They were very good little workers!

Madi decided she would try out the stewed tomatoes to be sure we had made them just right.


She really liked them!

She liked them so much she went back for more!

Good job Nick and Madi!

More of Carter...

Eric and I got to spend the evening with Josh, Erin, and Baby Carter on Friday night. We had so much fun getting to cuddle with the precious little man!

We have a new nephew!

We have a new nephew! Finally:)

After what seemed like forever, Carter Timothy Remme arrived into this world on September 15th at 3:03 a.m.. Carter weighed 9 lbs. 3 ozs. and was 22 in. long. Yep...that's right he is a big guy! He has very long fingers and toes. And round chubby cheeks:) He is absolutely amazing!

Erin did an awesome job during her delivery. She started induction at 7:30 am on Sept. 14th and didn't have him until almost 20 hours later! She was in great spirits the whole time. She looks amazing! (Especially after having a 9 lb. baby:))

Josh never stopped smiling while we were at the hospital! He is a proud daddy! Erin said he was a great coach and did awesome throughout the birth.

Josh and Erin have made an amazing addition to their family! They are going to be wonderful parents! And I am so thrilled I get to be an auntie to Carter!

Courtney's shower and bachelorette party

On Saturday we celebrated the upcoming wedding of Todd and Courtney!

We started the day out by having a family shower for Courtney where she received a lot of very nice gifts to add to their home.

After the shower we got in our cars and roadtripped down to Mankato for an evening of fun! We ate supper at Rounder's and then went back to the hotel for some games and fun. From there we went out for a night on the town!

Hanging out with Uncle Eric

The nieces and nephews got to spend some time hanging out with Uncle Eric at our house. Eric gave each of the kids a ride on the four wheeler and then decided to give all of the kids a ride at the same time.
