Easter!

We had a fabulous time celebrating Easter last weekend!

On Saturday we went to my parents 

for Easter with my dad's family.  

It was such a lovely day that much of it

was spent outside playing!

 Brynlee loved all the fresh air!

 Cohen got to do an Easter egg hunt.

He found all his eggs.
And he got to find Brynlee's too!

On Sunday we spent the day with Eric's family.

It was another spectacular day outside!

It was finally feeling like spring.

 We were getting lots of big smiles from Brynlee again!

Why are Easter Bunnies so creepy?!

Cohen was so excited to go and see the Easter Bunny!

Until we got there.

He saw him and turned the other way.

He wanted nothing to do with him.

As you can see from the picture below

Brynlee isn't too impressed either.

She was very stoic, no expression.

 After many tries at getting Cohen to sit by him,

I hopped in the picture with the bunny.

Lovely.

After we got in the car

Cohen asked me if we could go see 

the Easter Bunny.

I told him we had already.

He said "No mom...the real Easter Bunny.

You know, mom?!  The little one that hops."

Poor kid!

He just wanted to see a rabbit.

Not the creepy Easter Bunny.

Easter Bunny.  Fail.

Brynlee is 5 months old!

This smiley little girl is 5 months today!  

She is just that...a smiley little babe!

She is a very happy and laid back baby.  

It is hard to believe that she is already 5 months.  

I just can't believe how fast time is cruising by.

She is always changing and doing something new.  

She continues to coo, talk, and smile.  

Now she offers lots of the cutest little giggles too!

She has recently started to yell a lot.  

I think she really likes hearing her own voice :)

Brynlee is rolling from her back to her stomach.

She has rolled a few times from her stomach to back too.

She does a great job being on her belly now

and holding her head up for quite some time.

We have introduced cereal to her 

but she is still a little unsure about it.

She likes to spit it out and make quite a mess!

Over the last couple of weeks she has developed

a little bit of stranger danger.

She gets a little nervous when other people hold her.

She gets the biggest lip which starts to quiver

and big alligator tears.  

Hopefully that will be a quick passing phase.
