Santa retakes

Cohen wasn't to sure about Santa Claus this year.

Our 1st attempt with Santa didn't go well.

He wanted nothing to do with him.

We thought we would attempt a 2nd visit to Santa.

After a little time checking him out with daddy...

He decided it would be okay to sit on his lap.
Long enough to get a picture at least!
...
Santa still brought him some good presents:)

Who is this big guy in red???

Santa Claus!

And Cohen did not want anything to do

with the jolly fella in red.

He took a few quick looks and then...

tried to make a quick escape!
As Santa tried to hold him
Cohen gave him the stiff back move!

And wiggled his way to the ground.

He took one final look as he made a

beeline to the safety of dad.

...

Hmmm...maybe we will try again another day:)

Catch me if you can...

Cohen is quite the little turkey!
He has found a new spot to play under...the tree.
We have not put any presents under the tree yet
(partly because we don't want him to get into them
and partly because I have not had time to wrap them.)
This gives him free rein to crawl under the tree.
One night I caught him crawling under the tree
playing with his bat and ball.
When he realized I was watching he thought
it was fun to hide behind the couch.

Here he is peeking around the corner of the couch.

As you can see he thinks he is pretty sneaky.

Hmmm... he has started to pull my ribbon off the tree. STINKER!

And now he is trying to escape...
behind the couch!

He is so fun to play with!!

Loving to Read!!

Cohen has found a new interest...reading!

He loves to read!

He enjoys being read to

but he also likes to look at the books himself.

He likes to look at pop up books, peek-a-boo books,

and any big picture books.

...

Here is the happy boy reading a book!

Take note that he is reading the book upside down:)

We will often find Cohen in his bedroom
surrounded by books and looking at his favorites!
And again...upside down. HA!
...
I think Cohen takes after his mama for the love of reading.
Let's hope he continues to LOVE to read.

1 year pictures!

Well...it is still hard for me to believe

that Cohen is 1!

He is getting to be so big!

About a month ago we had his one year

pictures taken.

It was a beautiful day for pictures

and Cohen was very willing to cooperate!

We got a ton of great photos of him

and a few good family photos too!!

Once again the girl who took the pictures

did a fabulous job!
