Carter's Baptism

On Sunday, Carter was baptized into the church.
Eric and I were asked to be Carter's godparents and feel very honored!
...
He was one adorable boy!
Grandma Lynn made Carter's baptismal outfit.
I didn't get a picture of Carter looking at me,
but this shows his adorable outfit.

Check out this amazing cake that they had made!
Pictures do not even do the cake and cupcakes justice!
Absolutely incredible!

Congratulations little Carter man!

17 week update

Time seems to be just flying by!
I have reached 17 weeks today!
I continue to feel great!
I am so fortunate to feel as well as I do.
The only real food aversion I have is to meat.
I can eat it if someone else prepares it,
but I can't stand making it myself!!!
...
I had a dr. appointment on Wednesday and everything looked great.
We looked for the heartbeat for quite some time
which made me quite nervous.
After about a minute (an eternity to me)
she found the baby's heartbeat. 147 BPM.
My heartbeat is so strong that it was overpowering
the little one's heartbeat:)
...
July 14th is our next appointment!
This is the exciting one...we will find out if it is a girl or boy!
I am still thinking it is a girl. Eric does too.
Soon enough we will know!
...
My belly continues to grow (and quite quickly I might say)
16 weeks
17 weeks

I got myself a shirt to wear for fun!
The saying is perfect for us:)

I have put up a poll on the blog to see if you think it is a girl or boy.
Be sure to vote!

Eric's birthday and Winstock

Last weekend was a big weekend...Eric's birthday and Winstock!
Eric celebrated his 31st birthday on Saturday.
It feels like only yesterday we were throwing him his surprise 30th birthday.
Oh how time flies by!
What a great way to celebrate a birthday!
He got to celebrate
with many of his friends and family at Winstock!
...
This is my 7th visit to Winstock
and Eric has been there more times than that.
It has become something we look forward to each year!
Although the weather was crummy, we still enjoyed our weekend!
This year we had a total of 9 campsites altogether in our group.
We will be adding two more to the group next year!
We got to see some awesome country artists...
Dierks Bentley, Alan Jackson, Sara Evans, Josh Turner,
Phil Vassar, David Nail, and many more!!

To help Eric celebrate,
we added a little decor to the camping site!

Eric and I on his birthday
Due to the 2-3 inches of rain we got on Thursday and Friday,
this is what much of the campground looked like! Yuck!
We were surrounded by rain puddles and mud.
It made for quite the interesting weekend!

In order to keep our feet dry and out of the mud
everyone had to get mud boots.
Mud boots were sold out within a 30 mile radius of Winsted.
I got one of the last boots that could be found.
Check out the skulls...they wouldn't be my first choice,
but they sure kept my feet dry and clean!

Robyn was smart!
She had an entire rain gear outfit.
Doesn't she look hot?!?!

Eric's little brother Joe made his first appearance to Winstock.
Here are the Chap sister's along with Joe!
Next year Joe will be joining our crew in the campsites!
...
Another year of Winstock gone.
Can't wait for next year...Let's hope for sunshine!!!
...
Happy birthday to my wonderful husband!!!
