Sweet Little Reese

A couple weeks ago our sweet little niece Reese

was baptized into the church.

Eric and I are honored to be Reese's godparents. 

She looked absolutely precious in her baptismal gown.

From head to foot, she was all decked out!

We love you Reese!

On a hot summer day...

Yep...a hot day (near 100 degrees)!

We spent most of the day staying cool inside.

But we did make it outside for a while.

Cohen enjoyed playing on his jungle gym

and going down the slide in his shirt and diaper.

From there, we played at the water table.

It started by just getting a little wet

and then went on to get soaked!

 He has an obsession with drinking everything!

So why not drink the water in the water table too?!?

 And why not lick the water?!?

 We ended our outside adventure with a freezie!

Life is good...

hanging out in a diaper and eating a freezie! 

Can't get much better than that!

All of the pictures turned out great...

keep in mind the day we took these

it was a dreary, rainy, and stormy day!

We literally got 10 minutes to capture these images

before the sky opened up and poured rain!

So in 10 minutes time this is what we got...

Pretty good, huh?!

I have to say I am pretty impressed!!!

Skye Devoe...she does great work!

Especially when you have a 18 month old

BOY who can be quite a stinker

when the camera gets pulled out.

Winstock 2012

ADULT weekend getaway!!

Every year Eric and I look forward to Winstock!

Tons of fun, great music, a little relaxation,

and lots of laughs with great friends and family.

 This year we had 10 campers in our group...

"Camp Big Wood" was the name of our campsites.

And this is the group we camped with! 

 Enjoying the campfire on our "Camping Couch!"

Eric and another buddy found the couch

on the side of the road and thought it was a

great ideato pick it up for Winstock.

***First thought: DISGUSTING!!!***

After a little time past and everyone sat in it,

we discovered it to be quite comfortable!

So now it is moving along with us to our

next trip over the 4th of July.

Then it has to be burned!!!

I don't want it in my garage anymore:)

Ninth year of Winstock...

another great year!!!

Winstock celebrates its 20th year next year

so it promises to be a great time!

Can't wait!!!



Last day with Makenzie!

Last week we said good-bye to Makenzie

for the summer.  {Tear...}

Cohen loves Makenzie!

She has been absolutely fantastic with Cohen.

We couldn't ask for any better!

why Cohen was crying, and Jacob was playing shy.

Makenzie...we will miss you this summer!

Into everything!

Well...now that nice weather has arrived

we spend much of our time outside!

I am pretty sure Cohen would spend every

last second outside if he could. 

We thought Cohen got into a lot of things inside,

well outside is even more!

Between crawling on the lawnmower or Harley,

crawling up ladders, or eating the dog food

he is into everything!! 

We can't take our eyes off of him for a second.

 He helped Eric plant some flowers

(and play in the mud).
