Family Fun at the Dells

The month of July has been a busy one for the Chap's!

We started the month off with 4th of July camping.

Then it was on to Chicago.

With the following weekend in St. Louis.

We wrapped up our summer traveling in

Wisconsin Dells this past weekend.

Each summer we plan a trip with the Remme family.

This year we decided on visiting Wisconsin Dells.

We stayed at the Wilderness resort which was amazing!

A great place to stay as well as waterparks

and mini golfing all at the resort!

...

Along with the Remme family,

Erin's mom, stepdad, and brother came along too!

We had a great weekend away!

We all went out to eat at a fun restaurant called Marley's.

The tables were covered with paper and color crayons

to create your own placemats.

Erin and Brandon created an awesome drawing of the Chap family!!

After supper, we got a mad game of mini golf going!

It was a close game between all of us.

Carter had a great time golfing too!

So as our busy July wraps up,
we look back on the wonderful weekends away
with family and friends!
What a great summer!

St. Louis Getaway

Roadtrip!!!

Last Thursday Eric and I headed south toward St. Louis, Missouri.

We made the trip to watch

our friends Louie and Kelle tie the knot!

...

It was a short trip but a lot of fun!

Our friends Jake and Steph road with us to St. Louis.

We left at 6 pm on Thursday and got their

around 4:30 Friday morning.

We spent a few hours sleeping and then got up to enjoy the day.

...

Friday we went to the Budweiser Brewery.

It was a very neat experience!

We got to see how the beer was brewed,

where they bottled the beer,

and we even got to test taste the beer. (well not me of course)

The buildings were all made of brick and absolutely beautiful!

After the brewery, we made a quick stop at the Harley shop.

Then on to the groom's dinner!

...

Saturday we spent the morning lounging by the pool.

Then it was off to the wedding!

It was a beautiful wedding!

After the wedding we rode a party bus into downtown St. Louis.

We took pictures by the capital and the arch.

We also took pictures by Union Station.

What a neat place!

It's A Boy!!!

Today was the big day!

We found out we are having a baby BOY!!!

...

Everything is looking great!

His heartbeat was 148 BPM.

He is still measuring a little big.

He is measuring at 21w and 3d.

...

Our little guy is quite to mover.

He was squirming around throughout the whole ultrasound.

I thought I had been feeling the baby quite a bit

and this ultrasound definitely confirmed that!

I am still feeling great!
Hopefully that continues throughout the rest of the pregnancy.

Chicago with my girls!

Last weekend my girlfriends and I made a trip to Chicago!

Our girlfriend lives in Chicago and went to visit her.

...

We flew into Milwaukee Thursday night

to stay at our friend Gina's.

We hung out with her and her little guy, Donovan.

...

On Friday we drove to Chicago to spend the weekend at Alyssa's.

Friday night we went out for dinner

and hit up the Chicago night life.

It was a really fun night!

On Saturday we spent the day walking around Chicago

and doing a little shopping.

In the evening we went to a comedy club.

It was a great show!

The time went way to quickly (as they always do).

It was a great weekend with the girls!

Can't wait to see them again in August!

4th of July Weekend

Eric and I had a wonderful 4th of July!

We spent the weekend camping with

Eric's sisters and their families

as well as his aunt and uncle and their kids.

The Remme's joined us for the camping trip too!

This was our first rain free camping trip of the year.

The weather was great...

a little warm but better than rain and cold!

Growing Bellies!!

My good friend and team teaching partner at school

have had the opportunity to share in our pregnancies together!

Kristin has been a huge help to me during my pregnancy.

She has been there for all my questions, concerns, and excitements!

Last week we got together and thought it would be fun

to take a picture of our growing bellies.

Kristin is much closer to the end...

she was 37 weeks last Friday

I was 19 weeks last Friday

We are excactly 18 weeks apart!

...

She is expecting her little girl to arrive at the end of July!

I can't wait to find out what we are having.

Kristin's little girl will either have a little friend to play with

or a little boyfriend:)
