Memorial Weekend

We had a fantastic Memorial Weekend!

Lots of time with family and friends!

We started the weekend off on Friday night

by hanging out with my family in Faribault. 

On Saturday my cousin Caitlin got married.

On Sunday we spent the day hanging out

with the Chap family.

Lots of time to relax and enjoy great company.

On Monday Eric and I got a lot accomplished

around the house.

An all around great Memorial weekend!!!

18 month update

Well, here it is...Cohen is 18 months!

We had Cohen's 18 month check up on Monday.

Here are the stats:

Weight: 25 lbs. 8 oz. (66%)

Height: 32 1/4 inches (44%)

Head: 49 cm (89%)

His growing has seemed to slow a bit

which is perfectly fine with me!

Maybe then he won't grow up so fast...ha ha!

At least he will fit in his clothes for a bit. 

...

Cohen is a busy boy!

He is very active and loves to be outside.

If he could be outside all day and night he would!

From playing on the lawnmower to

riding the 4-wheeler,

to chasing the dogs and playing on the swingset...

it is a daily routine to be outside most of the night. 

He is talking a lot now. 

Not always words that everyone else can understand,

but Eric and I know what he is saying.

He is also starting to put words together.

Things like:

Mama's shoes, Daddy's truck, help please,

night-night daddy, Cohen's cup, etc...

...

He is also starting to get a mind of his own now.

He likes to do things he shouldn't...great!

And he is attached to his nuk! 

My summer project is to get

that thing away from him. 

I look forward to the summer so I can spend

time with him as he continues to learn and grow.

Cohen is 18 months old today!

Our little boy is growing and changing like crazy!

It is hard to believe how fast time is flying by. 

Our crazy little boy makes it tough to get a good

picture these days.

We had to bribe him with candy to get this one:)

A baby shower for my bestie...Robyn!

On Saturday we had a baby shower

for Baby Johnson who should be making

her appearance sometime in June!

Baby J is due June 7th.

The beautiful mama-to-be is super excited

for this baby girl to make her debut!

And me too of course:)

Happy Boy

Always a happy boy when he gets to play outside!

We have spent a lot of time outside this week.

He got to help dad water trees on the tractor.

And of course...he loved it!

He is getting to be a big boy.

It is so fun to watch him and all the things he does!
