Celebrating Roger's 60th Birthday!

This past weekend we celebrated 60 years for Roger!

It was a great day celebrated by many family and friends!!

Summertime!

We have been having a great summer together!

Summers are always such a great time 

for me and the kiddos.

It is a time to relax and spend quality time together.

Here are a few pictures from some of the things

we have been able to enjoy this summer...

 Introducing Snickers!

Snickers is our new little kitty.

Cohen and Brynlee both have a love for animals

and share a special love for cats.

We finally caved and got them a cat a few weeks ago.

They love her!

She is a very kind kitty and she let's them carry her around, 

mess with her, and snuggle her.

 Brynlee got her 1st black eye while playing at a park.

She ran smack into a picnic table.

She cried for about 5 seconds and then shook it off.

She is a tough cookie!

 One of their favorite spots to hang out.

 Brynlee is all ready for the pool!

That is Cohen shooting a bebe gun!

He is pretty good.  

Practices almost every night.

 I came in from outside to find Brynlee playing 

in the kitchen sink.

She got herself naked and found some toys to play with.

We are soaking up every minute of the summer!

Before we know it we will be back 

in the swing of real life.

So for now...we will love every minute of summer.

A little fun in the sun!

Last week we took a trip to Maple Grove

to their park and splash pad..."Central Park." 

It was a perfect day to be outside.

The park was absolutely amazing.

Probably the coolest park I have ever been to.

We started out at the splash pad

and then went to play at the park.

And back and forth we went...

The park had so many cool things to 

jump on, crawl up, swing on, and slide down.

Very creative and the kids had to use their imaginations

to play on all of the fun equipment!

 The Wozniak clan came along for the day.

It was fun to have friends to play with!

 The Remme's also met up with us!

So fun to play with them!

I would highly recommend checking out Central Park!

It was an absolute blast.

We were there for 3+ hours and could have stayed much longer.

We are thoroughly enjoying our summer together!!

Cohen's 1st Twins Game

Cohen got to go to his very 1st Twin game

on the 4th of July! 

The Eckhoff family was so kind to invite us 

to go along with them to the game.

It was such a fun experience!

We couldn't have asked for a better day.

The weather was great and the seats were even better.

We were in the 1st row behind the players dugout.  

We were up close and personal and able to see everything!

I have been to the stadium many times 

because we go there for our 3rd grade field trip.

But this was my 1st game in the new stadium.

We don't actually see a game when we go on the field trip.

So this was a great experience for me as well!

Cohen absolutely loves Nick and looks up to him so much!

 Nick got a ball that the Oakland A's ballboy threw to him.

He gave it to Cohen.

We had such a fun time at the game.

And so much fun with Dave, Mel, Nick and Madi.

We made some really great memories.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

We celebrated the 4th of July

with a 4 day camping trip.

Cohen and Brynlee always look forward

to our camping trips and this one was no different!

We counted down how many sleeps we had

until 4th of July camping.

It seemed like it took forever to get here

and then it was gone in a flash.  

It was such a great weekend!

So many memories made.

Lots of swimming, water balloon fights,

golf cart rides, fireworks, yummy food, lots of laughs, 

good friends and good times!

We are so lucky to be able to enjoy these 

summer weekends camping!

We love camping and the good company that 

comes along with camping.  

We look forward to the rest of our camping trips 

planned for the rest of the summer.
