"Little Man" baby shower

This past weekend we had our 1st baby shower

thrown by my girlfriends from college for Baby Chap!

They shower was themed "Little Man Cohen."

It was so cute and creative!

My friend Amanda is also pregnant and is about 18 weeks.

It has been fun having a close friend to be pregnant with!

And it is always tradition for a belly picture

with our hands on the baby belly!

100 days...

Only 100 days left until my due date!!!

Our new little baby boy should be making his appearance

within the next 100 days, give or take a few days!

Woo hoo!

Getting Practice at Becoming Parents

Eric and I got a chance to test out

our parenting skills this past weekend.

We brought our nephew Carter along with us on

our camping trip to Waseca.

He was such a good boy!

He made our jobs as auntie and uncle quite easy.

He slept through the night, took great naps,

and was as smily as ever!

...

We got practice feeding..

Practice giving a bath...

Practice at keeping him entertained...

And practice simply enjoying having a little one around!

....

We took a tractor ride which he was amazed by!

A fun camping weekend with my family!

Next year on our camping trip to Waseca

we will have our own little one to parent!!!!

24 weeks

24 week update...

We had an appointment today and everything looks great.

Our baby boy continues to grow everyday!

He weighed in at a little less than 2 lbs.

He is sitting horizontally in my tummy.

I am feeling lots of movements now.

Eric has also been able to feel him quite a bit!

The other day I had my computer sitting on my stomach

and he kicked which sent the computer on its side.

He is a strong little one!

24 week picture

At our 20 week ultrasound our little guy was not

totally cooperating with the ultrasound tech.

He was not able to get pictures of his spine.

Because of this, we got another ultrasound today:)

He did show us his spine today which is just perfect!

However, today he did not want to show us his face.

His face was completely hidden in my side.

He did show us the pipes in his arms though:)

Oh how funny!
