37 weeks!

37 weeks...the end is near!

This report is going to feel a lot like the one

I gave at this same time with Cohen. 

At my 36 week appointment we were unsure

if she was head down so I got a quick ultrasound.

She is head down but not engaged yet

which basically means she is still floating around

trying to decide what she wants to do.
I am also battling with my blood pressure again.

It has been higher then normal so we will watch

that closely over the next couple of weeks.

Other then that everything is going well.

Feeling pretty good!

Really ready to meet this little girl! 

She will be here soon!!!!

Carving Pumpkins

Last night was pumpkin night at the Chap's!

Cohen really had a lot of fun

carving and decorating pumpkins this year. 

He took interest with the pumpkin carving for a bit

and then found it more exciting to decorate

his little pumpkin with a kitty face.

Cohen is very excited for Halloween this year.

He is going to be Buzz Light Year.

He has not liked dressing up for the last two Halloween's

so we shall see if he stays in his costume this year.

We haven't showed him his costume yet

in hopes that he will LOVE it and wear it all night!

Finally...a hair cut!

All summer Eric and I buzzed Cohen's hair.

Nice and short to stay cool for the warm weather.

However...I was ready for him to have a little more hair

other then the buzz cut!

So we have been growing it out for over 2 months!

A Maze'n Farm

Taking advantage of another great fall day!

We took Cohen to the A Maze'n farm

last weekend for a day of fun.

So many fun things to do...

From feeding the animals to riding the ponies,

to all of the bouncy houses and the super slide,

Cohen had an absolutely amazing time!

 He got to feed baby goats with a bottle.

 He got to do duck races.

 He fed other animals corn.

 Running down the end of the slide.

So glad we got outside!

It was a perfect day for fresh air and lots of fun.

Apple Orchard Time

 

Last week when the sun was shining

and the weather was warm

Makenzie took Cohen and Jacob to the apple orchard.

The boys had a blast...

they ran and played and ran some more.

They did a lot of exploring of the different animals,

tractors, and other fun stuff to do at the orchard.

Pumpkin Pickin' Time

 FALL...beautiful weather, fall colors, and a pumpkin patch!

We had our annual pumpkin patch again this year.

We didn't get any monster pumpkins

but we got plenty to enjoy and use to decorate.

Josh, Carter, and Reese came out and helped us pick the pumpkins.

Getting a ride on the trailer out to the pumpkin patch.

Digging through the patch for all the pumpkins.

 Carter was a good little helper!

The boys were working hard.

Cohen found a pumpkin just his size to carry!

Cohen's Big Boy Room

Cohen has a new room.

And he loves it! 

It is pretty small and cozy...but it works great for him.

He adjusted quite easily into the room.

A few nights where he woke up a little scared

but it didn't take long before he was use to sleeping in there.

He LOVES to show off his new room to every person

that comes to the house to visit.

So if you plan to visit be sure to ask Cohen

about his "new Big Boy Room."

 He is into super heroes big time and

he is also excited to be a big brother so 

I thought this wall sign would fit in his room perfectly. 

And a cape and mask to hang by his bed!

 

 Cohen was more then willing to

We are so glad he loves his new bedroom!

Good times...good friends!

It isn't often that we get out on the town these days.

So we had a great time last weekend at a friends' wedding!

 So much fun!

33 weeks!

Well...we have made it to 33 weeks!

Time keeps ticking by. 

I am feeling pretty good...no major complaints.

Restless leg syndrome and an achy back.

Pretty tolerable for 33 weeks. 

Last weekend my parents came out

and painted the baby room.

Stay tuned for pictures of the baby room

and of Cohen's new "Big Boy" room!

 

So yes...we are getting closer to being ready

for this little lady to make her arrival!
