While we were in Brainerd for the weekend

we went mini golfing.

Cohen absolutely loved it!

He watched the balls very intently.

He liked to hold the the balls and clubs.

He also like to eat the balls and clubs.

Future pro??

I guess time will tell:)

Remme Summer Getaway

Every summer my family plans

a little weekend getaway.

This year we went back to Brainerd for the weekend.

Brainerd is such a nice place.

Not to close and not to far.

And lots of fun things to do!

We hoped for good weather this year.

The last two years were rainy for most of the time.

Well we got our wish on good weather.

However we were bitten by the flu bug.

Carter, Cohen, and Erin

all got the flu over the weekend. UGH!!

Even with sick kiddos we still managed

to have a great time!

We got to enjoy time at the lake, going for walks,

playing on the playground, and lots of relaxation!!

8 month update...

Time for another monthly update....

I think I say it every month,

but each and everyday is so much fun with him!

He is always doing something new;

something that makes us smile.

Cohen popped his first tooth!

I knew they were coming soon.

He has 2 teeth on the bottom and working on more.

He is eating lots of veggies, fruits,

and even some table foods.

His favorite veggies are green beans and squash.

His favorite fruits are bananas and Hawaiian Delight.

He loves ice cream:)

Cohen holds his own bottles and sippy cups now!!

He is rolling around like crazy.

He is working hard to get up on his hands and knees.

Crawling soon? Maybe another month yet!

He has learned to dance.

He bobs his head to the music...so cute!

Cohen loves going for wagon rides,

swimming in his pool, and swinging.

He loves being outside!!!!

With all the hot weather we have had,

Cohen spends much of his time as a naked baby.

He would prefer it that way!

Cohen loves chewing/sucking on cold things.

He is eating frozen watermelon from auntie Missy here!

Yummy!!!

Well another month passes by!

Our good friends Rachel and Brad

celebrated their 30th birthday's in style!

This party brought back a little bit of the 80's and 90's!

All the girls in their lovely denim outfits!

I particularly like Brad's outfit!

My 1st tooth popped through on June 18th.

My second tooth popped through one week later.

Pretty sure there are more coming!

Camp Eckhoff

Camp Eckhoff= Family, Friends, and Fun!

For the 4th of July weekend we packed up the camper

and headed south (a few miles) to Eric's sisters.

We couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

(Well, besides the horrible storm on Friday)

The weather was nice...even a bit hot!

We spent lots of time in the pool or the shade.

We enjoyed fabulous food...of course!

And we enjoyed lots or relaxation with family and friends!
