The eve of Halloween...

Pumpking Carving Time!!

What a perfect way to spend a Sunday evening!

We started the evening off with

baking Halloween cupcakes.

Cohen will be sharing the cupcakes

with his friends at daycare.

Then we got started with the pumpkins.

I did the drawing,

Eric did the carving,

and Cohen made sure the pumpkins

were just right:)

Little Lady Ryann

Last weekend I had the opportunity

to spend the weekend in Milwaukee with

some of my best friends from college

as well as the newest little addition

to our college family, Ryann.

My good friend Gina had her 2nd baby 3 weeks ago today...

It is amazing how fast you forget how small they are.

She is just a tiny little peanut.

So adorable!

We spent the entire time hanging out and relaxing.

It was the perfect trip!

The last night we were there the girls

went out to dinner.

A great night out!

Nope!!

Actually he was having fun crumpling, ripping,

and eating the paper!

And he was caught in the act!!

He has become a little terror on wheels.

Getting into things he shouldn't

is his favorite thing to do!
Our little boy isn't so innocent anymore;)

Oh man!
My last monthly update on the little guy
before he turns 1!
I have to say I am a little sad!
I have said it before and I will say it again...
Time goes too fast!!! SLOW DOWN!!

Cohen impresses us with new things everyday!
Let's see...
~ Cohen does "so big"
~ He claps his hands when we say "yay"
~ He says "uh -oh"
~ He says ma-ma, da-da, and ball
~He knows sign language for "more" and "all done"
~ He knows what a piggy says
(his face is priceless when making the piggy sound)
~ He now knows how to shake his head no.
Yeah...great!?!? Everything is no with a big smile!
~ He can stand for a few seconds before falling to the floor.
He is crawling around like a maniac
and is always getting into things that he shouldn't be.
Yep...he is growing fast!

He was having fun being tickled by daddy

to try and keep him on the couch for pictures.

Somehow after enough squirming

the sign ended up on his back!

Cohen loves his little police vehicle
that his cousin Carter borrowed him.
He drives it everyday!

Oh and did I mention he loves to do somersaults?
He can't quite make it all the way over yet.
Maybe next month!

A visit to Apple Jack's Pumpkin Patch

Sunday was the perfect day for a visit

to the pumpkin patch!

We spent most of the morning at Apple Jack's orchard.

A great place for kids...lots to do!

Cohen loved looking around at everything.

We took a wagon ride through the orchard,

played on the playground,

picked out lots of yummy apple treats,

and of course...

we took Cohen to pick out his very 1st pumpkin!

We also got some good pictures at the orchard!

Last weekend we celebrated Parker's 1st birthday.

He was one happy boy!

So excited while opening presents!
