Tis the season

What a great long weekend!

Thursday we spent the day celebrating Thanksgiving with Eric's family. It was a day for eating, playing games, and watching Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation. A very fun and relaxing day!

Friday was a day for work to be done. Eric had the deer hunting crew over and they spent the day preparing deer meat. I got the lucky job of cutting up onions for them. I spent an hour crying while trying to cut those dang things up! I also spent several hours working on my master's paper. Not such a fun day, but productive.

Saturday was another turkey day! We made the trip down to Faribault to have Thanksgiving with my family. Another day of good food and hanging out with family.

Today was the day to begin the Christmas season! A beautiful coating of snow to get me in the Christmas mood. I started out with a little shopping and then spent the afternoon putting up the Christmas decorations.

At the end of a long weekend, I am finally sitting down to relax for a while before heading to bed.

Our First Anniversary

Well...we have hit the first landmark! We are celebrating our 1st year anniversary! It is crazy how fast time goes by. It seems like just yesterday we were picking out bridesmaids dresses and choosing center pieces for the tables.

We have had a wonderful first year together! We have had the opportunity to do many great things in our first year as newlyweds. We have enjoyed hanging out with each other, going on some camping trips, playing with our puppies, and hanging out with family and friends. We also took a trip to Vegas and more recently, the Bahamas. We have also been able to celebrate other wedding celebrations. Most of all, we have enjoyed each other!!

We look forward to many, many more happy years together!

Weekend with the family

Eric and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend with my family. We went to my aunt and uncle's for Remme Thanksgiving. We ate lots of delicious food and had time to catch up with the relatives.

After Thanksgiving, we made our way north to hang out with Josh, Erin, and Lily for the evening. We had a blast watching Lily run figure eights around us and playing the Newlywed Game.

Lily was the hit of the show! Isn't she cute!

A Night On the Town

We got quite the crew together this weekend for a night on the town! The night started off with dinner and drinks. The night continued with more drinks...shots...dancing...

It was an awesome night! So much fun to hang out with everyone. It isn't very often that we get to do that anymore.

So YAY for a fun night!

Fall Pictures

Eric and I have been planning on taking some fall pictures for quite some time. Apparently we procrastinated for too long because on Friday we were taking pictures in the snow. So they are no longer considered "Fall pictures." We will consider them "Winter pictures."

We attempted to take some pictures with Sasha and Chase too, but they don't really like to cooperate when it comes to pictures! We did the best we could.

I think of the many we took we got a few good ones! And one nice one to use for our Christmas card.
