More Camping Fun!

This past weekend we took a trip to Lanesboro.

It was a great camping weekend with friends!

I have never been to Lanesboro before

but have heard it is a great place to visit.

There were a lot of neat things to look at and see.

 

We spent one day checking out the town,

going for bike rides, and visiting the waterfalls.

 

I also got to take a tour of the Amish community.

I have always been intrigued by the Amish

and so it was very neat to be able to see how

they live in person!

Chap Family Camping 2013

This past weekend we enjoyed our annual
"Chap Family Camping" trip!

A fun-filled weekend with lots to do.

From kayaking to swimming and everything in between,

we had lots to keep us busy and lots of fun to be had!

 

Cohen had a few firsts this weekend...

His first kayak ride!

 He got his very own fishing pole

and got to go fishing for the very first time!

He loved fishing...although it may take a little practice

to get the technique down.

 Auntie Tina buried the kids in the sand.

 Of course these is always time to play!

 What would a weekend at the lake be without swimming?!

 Cohen loved the water!

 He was in and out all day.

We sure are lucky to be able to camp with such amazing

family and friends throughout the summer.

And we are off for another camping weekend next weekend.

Summer Trip with the Remme's

We spent the weekend in Brainerd with my family

for our summer getaway this year.

It was a wonderful weekend!

We stayed at a waterpark resort in Brainerd

which was fun for the kids and adults.

We spent a lot of time splashing at the waterpark

and playing in the arcade room.

 

We also took a trip to Paul Bunyan Land.

The kids had an absolute blast going on the rides.

However, he still talks about him today.

He remembers that he knew his name and said "hello" to him.

Happy 4th of July!

Another great 4th of July down in the books!

We spent the 4th of July week camping.

We camped for 5 days which was so much fun!

We camped at Eric's sister's house along with

7 other campers full of family and friends.

This is the 3rd year camping there and we absolutely love it!

 

The weather was great this year.

A little hot that last couple of days but nothing to fuss over.

A lot of relaxation time, swimming, hayrides, games and much more!

We just love camping!

It's a girl!

We are having a girl! 

YAY!

Our little lady is doing great!

She had a heartbeat of 152 BPM.

She was measuring right on track at exactly 20 weeks.

She is measuring a little smaller then Cohen.

At my 20 week ultrasound with Cohen

he measured 21 weeks and 3 days.

This little girl might be a little more of a peanut.

 

I have been feeling great.

I have gotten my energy back and am not sooo tired!

I have been feeling her movements since about 16 weeks.

She is pretty active in the evening.

It is so fun to feel her moving around.

We feel blessed to be given both a boy and a girl!

 

I have gotten to go and do a little girl shopping.

SO.MUCH.FUN!

And dangerous...there is so many cute things for girls!

 

We are definitely going to love this little lady!!

Cohen's dress code...

Cohen's dress code pretty much consists of undies!

Anytime we are at home that is all he wears.

We can put clothes on him and 10 minutes later they are off.

We have to make him wear clothes in public.

Oh boy!

For now it is okay for him to walk around in undies.

And pretty cute too! 

Hopefully it isn't something he wants to do for a long time.
