We're going to the zoo, zoo, zoo

Today we were able to make it to the Como Zoo!

It was a beautiful day to stroll around the zoo

and check out all of the animals.

We also got to spend some time doing rides!

Always a bonus to enjoy rides.

My mom turns 60!

Surprise!  We pulled off a great birthday party

for my mom who turned 60 on July 18th!

We enjoyed a fun afternoon and evening 

celebrating my mom with family and friends.

Chap Family Camping

Every year we look forward to Chap family camping!

Last weekend was the weekend.

Chap camping was in Glenwood this year

at a cute little campground on a beautiful lake!

The weather was nearly perfect!

Not too hot yet warm enough to enjoy being on the lake.  

We spent much of the weekend at the lake.  

Floating, going down slides, pontooning, swimming, fishing...

Seeing the kids smiles, hearing their laughs 

and watching them make memories is priceless!  

It truly was a weekend of making wonderful memories!

4th of July fun!

July 4th...my 2nd favorite holiday!  

(Next to Christmas of course)

The 4th of July isn't only celebrated on the 4th

in the Chap world.  

The 4th is celebrated for several days.

Our biggest camping trip of the year is always over the 4th.  

It is a fun-filled week of camping with family and friends.

10 campers!

From treasure hunts, to BINGO, 

swimming and golf cart rides,

to cards and bean bag tourneys...

we do a lot and nothing all at the same time.  

We enjoy good company and delicious food!

It really is just an amazing week of camping.  

To end our camping weekend

we spent the evening at the Annandale carnival

where we enjoyed good music, greasy food, and fair rides.
