Pumpkin Carving Fun!

A fun night with pumpkins!  

A little carving, a little painting, and a little drilling.

For Brynlee's 1st pumpkin we used a drill

and wrote her name in her pumpkin.

A little hard to see in the picture but it is neat

when it is lit up.

Cohen worked hard on painting his ninja turtle.

He painted most of the green paint on the ninja.  

I helped out with the mask and eyes.

 Brynlee was quite curious about what was inside the pumpkin.

 She is a squirmy worm so crawling on the table

was so much fun for her!

 This past weekend we had a pumpkin carving party.

Big cousin Tess helped Cohen carve Captain Kitty.

It is such an awesome pumpkin!

We had a fun night getting ready for Halloween!

A day at the orchard!

What a fun day at the orchard!

And it couldn't have been any nicer!

We picked the perfect day to take a trip to the orchard.

We went to Apple Jack's orchard 

with our pals Jacob and Beth and Cheyann.  

Cohen had been looking forward to a playdate 

with Jacob for quite some time.

And...boy did they have a good time.

The orchard had a ton of fun activities for the kids.

From hayrides to corn pits,

and cow trains and a jumping pillow.

The kids were running around in amazement

with all the fun things to do.

We did it all!

And at the end we enjoyed a yummy apple and apple cider!

 Along the way we were able to snap some fun photos!

 She is loving walking.

She can get into everything.  Including the sand and dirt!

11 months old!

Wow~11 months!

It is so hard to believe that this will be my last post

before this little girl turns one.  

I never knew time could go so fast.

I honestly feel like it was just yesterday that I was pregnant

and waiting for her to arrive.  

I really just want to freeze this time 

because before long she won't be my baby anymore!

Brynlee is such a sweetie!

She is such a happy, smiley, sweet little girl.

I can't say enough about what a great baby she has been.

She is constantly doing new things these days.

Her latest achievement is walking!

Yep...she is walking.  

Each day she walks more and more.

She can walk from one side of a room to the other now.  

Since she has started moving a lot,

she has become a little more mischievous :)

She is becoming more vocal as well.

She says ma-ma, da-da, and uh-oh.

Brynlee does "so big," and

claps when we say "yay."

She loves chasing her big brother around

and bugging him.

Brynlee can crawl up the stairs now.

She is a maniac!

She eats like no little baby I have ever seen!

She out eats Cohen every night.

She may even out eat myself and Eric. 

She loves all foods. 

In fact, I don't know of one food she doesn't like.  

 Brynlee is on the move constantly.

Picture takin has become very difficult for her mommy!

She had a little yogurt melt in her mouth

when I way trying to take this picture.

Of course it was the one that she gave a super cute smile!

She is done with pictures!

And trying to avoid the camera at all cost!

Oh...I love this little girl!

She lights up my life.

She makes me smile each and everyday.

Stop growing up baby girl!

It is hard to believe that this little dude is five years old already!

We had a fun day celebrating Carter's birthday!

 A fun filled day of jumping in a bouncy house, 

dressing up, 

eating lots of candy,

and yummy cake!

Tonight we got Brynlee all dressed up for the Vikings game!

Vikings vs. Packers!

Wouldn't you think this cute little bug

would bring the Vikings good luck?!  

Wrong!  

Vikings got killed!

But she still looks awfully adorable!

This little outfit has been passed down from the Chap girls.

It was Kyleah's little outfit when she was young.

I love that Brynlee gets to pass down the tradition

by wearing it!

I guess we can try again next week!  :)
