Happy Halloween!

Happy Halloween! How much fun is it to see all of the kids dressed up in their adorable costumes! Eric and I enjoyed getting to see all of our nephews and nieces dressed up for the special occasion.


Nicholas was dressed up as "Woody" from Toy Story and little miss Madi was dressed up as a beautiful little princess.




The Jack Man was dressed as Darth Vadar and Isabella was dressed as the pretty Snow White.







Famous singer Hannah Montana (Kyleah) made an appearance at the Chap residence on Halloween.

Stockholm Rally 2008

This past Saturday we had our 6th annual Stockholm Rally. For those of you who may be unfamiliar...The Stockholm Rally is a day of fun put on by friends that live in Stockholm township south of Cokato. (Where Eric and I live) The day begins with races in the fields. Boys buy old beater cars and fix them up to race. There are cars, trucks, vans, campers...You name it, they drive it! They always make the races exciting. It never fails that we have a car start on fire, a little car accident, or a flip over. All in good fun, of course! After the races, we have a hog roast. We need to eat after a day of racing.

The night ends with a band to celebrate! Each year we have "Backroads" band sing in the shed on the Wozniak Farm. It is a fun night of dancing and singing! We look forward to this day each and every year! And each year it gets bigger. We had over 200 people that came to watch the races this year! It has become quite the event.

Joel and Darcy's Wedding

Wow! What an amazing vacation to the Bahamas!








Darcy and Joel were married in the Bahamas on the beach on October 11. It was a beautiful wedding ceremony. Darcy was a gorgeous bride and Joel was looking as handsome as ever. It was a picture perfect day. We had so much fun helping Joel and Darcy celebrate their wedding day.






While in the Bahamas, we also enjoyed going to the ocean, laying on the beach, playing beach volleyball, having some great laughs with friends.

We couldn't have asked for a better trip!! It was awesome!

Two Blogs in one day!

One more exciting thing happening at the Chap household is that we just purchased a new vehicle. Last night Eric and I picked up our 2008 Acadia!! We love it!

Bahamas...here we come!

Well, this has been a long awaited trip! Since last January, we have been looking forward to watching our friends, Darcy and Joel get married. They will be getting married on the beach in the Bahamas on Saturday, October 11th. We are so excited to help them celebrate their big day!
We will arrive in the Bahamas on Thursday afternoon and by their until Monday night. We look forward to some much needed fun and relaxation! Stay tuned for pictures of the wedding and our trip!

Becoming a blogger

Well, this seems to be the thing to do! Just like I got sucked into Facebook and MySpace, I am sure that I will get sucked into blogging as well!

Until very recently I knew very little about blogging. Other than looking at the few blog pages of family and friends, I was pretty clueless to the whole deal. I am currently taking a master's class on technology. We have learned incredible amounts of information about technology and creating a blog was one of them. I am creating this blog for a grade in technology, but have a feeling that this will become an enjoyable past time for myself.

I will do my very best to keep all of you updated on the "Chap Life."
