Fun in the leaves!

It has been a beautiful week!
We have enjoyed our evenings playing outside
and soaking in the last few days of warm weather!
We were able to rake up enough leaves
to jump in, ride bikes through, and Cohen even
rode the four-wheeler over the leaf pile.
The kids were having a blast playing in the leaves.

Before long the grass will be covered by white
and we will be cuddled up under blankets.
So for now we will enjoy every last fall warm weather day!

Brynlee's off to preschool!

Brynlee has been talking about going to "school"
for weeks and weeks now!
Well, she got her 1st chance this past Monday.
We sent our baby off to her 1st day of preschool!

She walked into the preschool with a big smile on her face
and never looked back.
She hugged me good-bye and off she went.
She was so excited to play with the other kids and toys.
When I picked her up she had the biggest smile on her face.
Brynlee said she had "so much fun!"
She has been talking all week about how she can't wait to go back.

I am so excited for this little lady!
And I am proud of her for what a big girl she has become.
Miss independent...
She is going to go far in this world!

1st day of 1st grade!

Today we sent Cohen off to his 1st day of 1st grade!
He was so very excited to head to class.
He has been asking about going back to school since July!
He loves school and loves being with friends.
His 1st day was a huge success!!
He enjoyed his day in his new class
and was excited to meet up with friends on the playground.
Cohen is excited to have Mrs. Scheifelbein
for his 1st grade teacher this year!

As Cohen begins his 1st grade year,
I begin my 13th year in 3rd grade!
Gotta get a picture by the Cokato School sign!

So excited to see what is in store for you this year Cohen!
You are going to do great in 1st grade!!

So long summer!

What an amazing summer!
I cherish my summers with these two kids!
I love being able to wake up with them,
read books, go to parks, swim, jump on the tramp,
go for walks, visit friends, snuggle, play dolls,
watch movies, play Legos, and on and on and on.

Now with that being said...
there were days that they drove me bonkers.
Fighting, crying, sassiness, crabby...

With the good must come the bad.
But at the end of the day and the end of summer
I am so grateful to have the time with them!
Even if they make me a little crazy! :)
