Our last days of summer...

Well, here we are the night before summer ends.

Tomorrow I go back to work and the kids back to daycare.

So many emotions on this last day.

Sad to see summer go and leave my kids.

Excited for a new school year !

We had an amazing summer together!

It is just crazy to think how fast the summer flew by.

As always...time slow down!

So we will end the summer with a few pictures 

of our last weeks at home together.

Cohen just loves being at the building site.

He could spend hours playing out there.

 We closed out the summer with an amazing 

camping and 4-wheeling weekend!

Saying good-bye to summer is bittersweet!

I am always sad to see summer go 

but look forward to what the year ahead holds!

Crazy girl!

Right now one of Brynlee's favorite things to do

is pick out her clothing and dress herself.

She hasn't quite got the hang of how to dress properly.

Layering is the look she goes for.  

The other night she was in her room playing

and it had gotten really quiet.

So I peeked around the corner to find this.

She had put on several tops which she had around her waist.

She had on 8 shirts to be exact.

7 around her mid-section being used like a tube top

and 1 on her head.

She is a very stylish dresser, don't you think?

This girl just cracks me up!  

Never a dull moment with her!!

The progression of the house!

The last few months have been a whole lot of craziness!

We are making great progress on the house.

It is starting to actually look like a house!!

So here are a few pictures...

This is the picture of the lot before we began construction.

Beautiful, right?!

 How the land looks after leveling it out 

and prepping for breaking ground.

 Concrete has been poured and floor done!

 Outside shell is up!

 And inside walls are studded up.

 And most recently the rafters went up!

 It is really starting to take shape!

And these two...well they are daddy's little construction helpers!

They deliver meals every night. ;)

Next up will be the roof and shingles!

More Summer Fun

From carnival rides to camping trips,

from beach days to fun with friends,

we have been soaking up every last second of summer!

We have had so many great times this summer

and made tons of wonderful memories!

Summer is wrapping up,

A day at the zoo

Last week we took a trip to the Como zoo!

We had a fun day checking out all animals

and we enjoyed lots of rides too!

Summer is such an awesome time for me 

to spend precious time with my kiddos.

I love being able to have my summer off with them!
